I installed Powertimer and almost imediatly received the message "can not create safe point". This message appears every 3-5 second and you can not close the program when this happens. Does any one know how to cure this problem?

Is this the exact message box error?
"A slight problem occured while trying to create a safepoint."
If so, the only problem i see here is that Powertimer cannot create a safepoint data file in your disk. A safepoint date file is created every 5 seconds to protect against power/program interruption, and will resume transactions on the next program startup.
Since it seems like you are the only one having this problem, may I suggest the following:
- go to Powertimer folder, search for the file "safe.dat" and "settings.ini", if present, delete these files. Re-run powertimer.
- if problem persists, please inform us immediately.
- Powertimer version 1.5.0. will be released this week with new improvements and features. You may want to wait and download this new version. You can provide us your email so we can inform you as soon it is released.

I solved the problem. I am in Brasil and the computer is formatted for Brasilian times (15:25:25) and dates (day/month/year) and numbers (1.000,00). I changed the formating to English and it solved the problem.
